Leadership

With over 20 years in creative production, I've often stepped into leadership organically—whether guiding teams, shaping creative direction, or improving workflows. I lead with empathy, curiosity, and clarity, aiming to uplift teams while staying aligned with objectives and outcomes. My leadership experience spans across directing talent, managing projects, and optimizing operations for efficiency and collaboration.

My Leadership Philosophy

Balancing communication, collaboration, transparency, and ownership

I lean into a joint leadership style, which is collaborative, hands-on, and rooted in mutual respect. I strive to create alongside team members, knowing when to coach and when to rely on others' expertise. Whether I’m instructing a Taekwon-Do class or leading a video shoot, my focus is always on positive team dynamics, shared vision, and continual refinement of the process.

Transparency is central to how I lead—whether it's maintaining live documentation, detailed tracking and reporting, or building workflows that communicate status at a glance. I value feedback, iteration, and clarity in the service of quality creative output.

Ethron is a very talented designer, who served as a great mentor when starting my career at Capstone Tech. Intelligible, patient, and instructive he made my transition into the professional world a smooth one. Highly creative and clever, Ethron's methods for creating clear and entertaining training material are often looked to as a prime example and for inspiration. Never a dull moment with Ethron, I have highly enjoyed being part of the same design team and working closely with on collaborative projects. I most certainly would not hesitate at the opportunity to work with Ethron again.

I had the great pleasure to work with Ethron while at Degica where his main responsibility was creating promotional videos and trailers for the games Degica published and he always delivered. Different genres, audiences, tastes, Ethron was always ready to go that extra mile to produce something that satisfied all the stakeholders involved with a project. He was as much at home taking, but often improving on, direction just as much as he was at self-starting and putting together videos with minimal to no direction. Given the chance, I wouldn't hesitate to work with him again.
